George McKee, III - President & Chief Executive Officer
George is a serial entrepreneur who spent the early part of his career in sales and sales management where he earned numerous top honors both as an individual contributor and in leadership roles. In 1995, he and several partners founded Medtrex Incorporated, a manufacturer of radio frequency electrosurgical equipment which, after five years of growth, was acquired by Johnson & Johnson. George then became President and CEO of True Commerce, Inc., a company that delivered electronic data interchange solutions to small and medium sized businesses. In 10 years under his leadership, the company experienced a forty-five fold increase in revenue, generated significant cash flow, and was ultimately acquired for a substantial profit.
George earned a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has continued his studies in the Entrepreneurial Management Program at Carnegie Mellon University. George is a regular guest lecturer in entrepreneurship at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University and the Columbia Business School at Columbia University.
John Kachaylo - Executive Vice President
Prior to co-founding Profituity, John was Senior Vice President, Business Development for True Commerce, Inc. where he was responsible for establishing and growing a network of strategic business partnerships with Intuit, Sage, Microsoft and other leading technology companies targeting the SMB space.
During the 10 years he was at True Commerce, Inc., the company experienced double digit growth while generating significant profit margins. In October 2010 TrueCommerce was acquired by HighJump Software, providing investors a 5X return. John brings a wealth of marketing and business development expertise in senior marketing and advertising roles. Past clients have included McDonald's, Hoover Vacuum Company, as well as medical device manufacturers Medrad and Respironics.
John graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University, where he majored in advertising and minored in management and economics.
